Specialized in the Chinese and Polynesian cuisine, The ‘Château de la Lune’ is proud to serve great meals that are being cooked with passion, using only premium quality ingredients.
You shall be delighted to try, amongst many others meal we prepare, the “Szechuan”, a typical Chinese meal that’s slightly more spicy (but still very tasty) than most Cantonese meals.
The ‘Château de la Lune’ is a family-owned restaurant; Mr. James Ng Pui Ying, his wife, Mrs. Kitty Hui Ng, and her two brothers-in-law Lam Ying Ying Hui and Hui Mon have been there since day one. Originally from Hong-Kong, they all arrived in Quebec at the beginning of the 70’s, and thanks to their determination and commitment, they opened their first restaurant in 1979.
At this time, the restaurant was part of the motel “Le Sommet”, on the Moody Boulevard, and had the particularity to be the first Chinese restaurant at the North of Montreal to offer a buffet to his clients.
The restaurant eventually moved to its current location in 1981, on the Boulevard des Seigneurs in Terrebonne. Amongst many specialties, we are proud to serve the "Fantaisie de Tahiti", a delicious blend of lobster, shrimps, queen scallops and crispy fresh vegetables on a bed of rice. You should also try the “Molokai” queen scallops, which is made with pineapple, mushrooms and onions, and is being served in a pineapple with rice.
Our friendly and attentive waiters are happy to welcome you in an exotic décor, and you will love our very affordable prices!
